ELECTROLYTIC ZINC PLATING

ELECTROLYTIC ZINC PLATING

This should be considered as the best protection for ferrous materials. Thanks to its anodic behaviour it provides galvanic protection even on exposed areas due to porosity, imperfections and surface damage, as it generates products from corrosion that protect the zinc from new attacks.

Surface appearance may vary from semi-opaque to shiny depending on the base material, whilst its colour varies according to the passivation requested by customers.

TECHNICAL PROCESS

Alkaline bath without cyanide with highly uniform thickness. Can be used on articles in iron, die-cast iron, copper and its alloys, zamak and aluminium and its alloys. Various thicknesses on request from 3 to 30 microns.

Supergalvanica is able to carry out rack plating of up to 4 metres in length.
Passivation can be white, yellow, black and iridescent and highly resistant. All without hexavalent chromium and in accordance with Rohs standards.
